Motion passed unanimously. <br />17 <br />18 4) RECREATION REVIEW – PARK FACILITIES FOCUS <br />19 Facilities Supervisor, Christian Swanberg, gave the history and evolution of the Facilities Supervisor <br />20 position. Swanberg also provided information on each of the facilities that he supervises including <br />21 the park buildings, Muriel Sahlin Arboretum, Harriet Alexander Nature Center(HANC)andthe <br />22 picnic shelters. <br />23 <br />24 Park building information provided: <br />25 2019 park building rental statistics <br />26 o 600+ rentals so far in 2019 <br />27 o Rentals will bring in over 30,000 guests to the parks <br />28 2019 recurring group rentals <br />29 Park building general information <br />30 o Open year round for rentals <br />31 o 4 buildings have outdoor skating rinks (Dec.-Feb.) <br />32 o Lobbies are open year round for park guests <br />33 o Facilities are rented by the hour (min 3 hours) <br />34 Revenue and expenses <br />35 o 2015 <br />36 Revenue: $43,213 <br />37 Expenses $92,643 <br />38 o 2016 <br />39 Revenue: $66,170 <br />40 Expenses: $121,656 <br />1 <br /> <br />
