Mr. Jay Green was at the meeting and explained the reason for his donation for a future sidewalk on Rice Street. Mayor Roe thanked Mr. Green for his initiative and for thinking about people's safety. Public Hearing to Approve/Deny an On-Sale and Sunday Intoxicating Liq- uor License for Bright Burger Rosedale, LLC dba Burger Dive Located at 1595 Highway 36, Space#1030-FH7. Assistant City Manager Olson briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the Re- quest for Council Action and related attachments dated October 21, 2019. She noted the city has received both the insurance requirements and is only pending the background check. Mr. Josh Thoma, co-owner of Bright Burger Rosedale, LLC, explained Burger Dive is a fast-casual burger place. There is one currently open in Northeast Min- neapolis. He noted he is excited to be in Roseville. Mayor Roe asked Mr. Thoma if he has a good understanding of the city's serv- er/manager training program and is expecting to be compliant with that. Mr. Thoma answered in the affirmative. Mayor Roe reviewed public hearing protocol and opened and closed the public hearing at approximately 6:27 p.m. for the purpose of receiving public input on the above-referenced On-Sale and Sunday Intoxicating Liquor License; with no one appearing for or against. Willmus moved, Groff seconded, approval for an On-Sale and Sunday Intoxicat- ing Liquor Licenses for Bright Burger Rosedale LLC dba Burger Dive's located at 1595 HWY 36, Space#3010. Roll Call Ayes: Willmus, Groff, Etten, Laliberte and Roe. Nays: None.
