Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: February 27, 2020 <br />Item Description: Sustainable Roseville Update <br />Background: <br />Item No: 6 <br />In 2012, Roseville took a more active role in making the City more sustainable. Early projects <br />included: working with the University of Minnesota to document the City's sustainable efforts; <br />working with the Clean Energy Resource Team (CERTs) to determine neat steps in solar, <br />improve energy efficiency, etc.; supporting a council action to pursue Green Step Cities. <br />As Roseville progressed, the City has completed several projects and is looking to take on new <br />challenges. City staff will present on what Roseville has done, and what can be done, to help the <br />City be more sustainable in the future. <br />Staff will look for input from the Commission on what to pursue, what to prioritize and what to <br />bring to the City Council for recommendations for further action. <br />Recommended Action: <br />Receive presentation from the City staff. <br />Attachments: <br />A.
