Roseville Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission Agenda Item Date: February 27, 2020 Item No: 4 Item Description: Communication Items Public Works Project updates: • Water Booster Station Phase 2 o All major work is completed other than some minor cleanup. o Staff will present to Council a professional services contract for engineering design services for Phase 3 in December. Design will occur in 2020. • Femwood Lift Station The project includes the upgrade of the lift station. The project was awarded to Minger Construction, Inc. on July 8. Work on the lift station will begin in spring of 2020. • 2020 Pavement Management Project o Bids opened on February 18. The City received 6 qualified bids and approval of bids is on the agenda for the February 24 City Council Meeting. • City Hall Parking Lot o All major work is completed for the year. Final restoration and additional tree planting will take place neat spring. • Ramsey County Library Entrance Modification o All major work is completed for the year. The permanent removal of the old entrance and the final paving will occur neat year. • 2020 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project o Visu- Sewer was awarded the contract in November. o They have started pre -cleaning and televising pipes in Roseville. o Crews have started lining pipes in the Heinel Drive neighborhood on the south side of Lake Owasso and the Glenwood Ave neighborhood on the south side of Lake McCarrons. o Work on the project is about 15% completed. Work will be ongoing through mid- summer. Ramsey County: • County Road C Reconstruction: Hwy 88 to Long Lake Road o Work remaining for neat spring includes installing the signal system at Walnut Street, installing the trail, installing turn lanes and final turf restoration.
