Over time, continue to encourage more residents and businesses to shift from purchasing green <br />power to on -site generation to capture co -benefits like property investment, job creation, or <br />resilient grid infrastructure <br />5.3.4. Determine whether any sites are suitable for community solar gardens <br />:�:Y•111 Y0]:" <br />• Minnesota Solar Suitability App — allows users to enter their address and see an estimate of their solar <br />resource and production. <br />• Google Project Sunroof —similarly allows users to see an estimate of solar resource and production. <br />• CERTs - The Clean Energy Resource Teams have a wide variety of resource on solar energy, particularly <br />community solar gardens. <br />• Clean Energy Project Builder - This site aims to bring together all the information you need to plan a <br />clean energy project, including a search function for installers and funding sources. <br />• SolSmart Certification - SolSmart provides recognition and no -cost technical assistance to help local <br />governments reduce barriers to solar energy growth. <br />• Solarize - The Solarize approach allows groups of homeowners or businesses to work together to <br />collectively negotiate rates, competitively select an installer, and increase demand through a creative <br />limited -time offer to join the campaign. <br />• Solar Power Hour — One hour seminars on how solar PV systems work, financial benefits, and an <br />explanation of the installation process. <br />
