o Repave I-35W and ramps between County Road C in Roseville to just north of <br />Sunset Ave (County Road 53) in Lino Lakes. <br />o Replace and repair bridges along the project area <br />o Install noise walls on the east side of I-35W just north of the County Road C <br />ramps to County Road D. <br />o Contract was awarded in October 2018 to Ames Construction which had the <br />winning Design/Build Proposal. Total cost is $208 million. <br />o Major roadwork is completed for 2019. <br />Miscellaneous Updates: <br />• Capitol Region Watershed's Parkview Storm Water project is underway. Work will be <br />completed in early 2020. <br />City Council Update: <br />• The City Council approved the Civic Campus Master Plan professional service contract <br />with BKV Group. <br />Major Maintenance Activities: <br />• Street and Storm <br />o Ongoing winter tree trimming of City Blvd. trees. <br />o Ongoing monthly compost turning. <br />o Ongoing street sign maintenance and repair. <br />o Hauled and restored 13 water breaks 12/3/19- 1/19/20. <br />0 8 of the last water breaks were patched with concrete. <br />0 1st plowable snow was 11/27/19 with a total 9 full plows thru 1/18/20. Season <br />snowfall total by Public Works as of 1/22/20 measurement 27.25". <br />• Treated roads during difficult ice event 12/28/19. <br />o Prior seasons salt purchases and increased use of brine and beet solution <br />has positioned us well to get through this year's salt shortage. <br />o Have benched back all right of way areas once. <br />o Hauling snow out of select problem areas and snow blowing curb lines. <br />o Expected brine maker delivery early February. Ongoing layout and preplanning. <br />o Central Garage: 2 mechanics are busy keeping all equipment, particularly snow <br />plowing equipment in ready, go mode. <br />o Ongoing Police and Fire vehicle maintenance. <br />Water and Sanitary Sewer <br />o Collected water samples for bacteriological and disinfectant by-product testing. <br />o Continued replacing meter registers and radios. <br />o Continued working with engineers and contractors on the Booster Station Phase 2 <br />proj ect. <br />o Continued working with city engineers and consulting engineers on the Fernwood <br />and Galtier lift stations and the 2020 PMP. <br />o Converted an interview room in the police department to an office. <br />o Repaired the handicapped front door at City Hall. <br />o Load -tested the emergency generator at City Hall. <br />o Repaired 13 broken water mains and 1 leaking gate valve. <br />o Assisted streets with snow removal. <br />Attachments: <br />A: 2020 Roseville Project Map <br />B: December Development Activity Report <br />C: Alliance for Sustainability Gathering Invite <br />
