Attachment A EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of 2 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 23rd day of March, 2020, at 3 6:00 p.m. 4 The following members were present: ; and and the following were absent: . 5 Memberintroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 6 RESOLUTION No. 7 RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT 8 FOR 2020 PATHWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 9 WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans 10 and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were 11 received on Tuesday, March 17, at 11:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the 12 following bids were received complying with the advertisement: 13 Contractor Base BidAlternateTotal Bid $424,586.00 $36,036.00 $460,622.00 Bituminous Roadways, Inc. Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. $494,812.70 $32,749.40 $527,562.10 $524,100.00 $35,731.00 $559,831.00 T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. $462,685.00 $30,686.00 $493,371.00 Engineers Estimate 14 WHEREAS, it appears that Bituminous Roadways, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder at the 15 tabulated price of $460,622.00. 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, 17 Minnesota: 18 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a 19 contract with Bituminous Roadways, Inc. for $460,622.00 in the name of the City of 20 Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications 21 thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City 22 Manager. 23 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders 24 the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the 25 next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. 26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, 27 Minnesota:
