Attachment A <br />9:00 P.M. on any weekend or legal holiday.” A noise variance will be applied forfrom the <br />City Council before working outside of these hours, if necessary. <br />Operational Noise <br />The Roseville Code of Ordinances regulate mechanical noise associated with building <br />operation. The occupancy of the proposed project would comply with these requirements. <br />Building design will incorporate noise reduction technologies in interior spaces as a result of <br />existing local traffic. <br />Noise Sensitive Areas <br />The site includes residential (Noise Area Classification (NAC) 1), Retail (NAC 2). The lowest <br />activity criterialevel is the residential. Outdoor spaces are proposed within the residential <br />portion of the site. Roadway noise is anticipated to be the primary source of noise in the <br />project vicinity. <br />The site plan has been designed so the residential buildings are a few hundred feet from the <br />nearest roadway which also provides a buffer between the residential areas and the <br />surrounding roadways. Building materials and other strategies will be utilized during the <br />design and construction of the residential buildings to minimize noise for the tenants in those <br />buildings. <br />18.Transportation <br />a.Describe traffic-related aspects of project construction and operation. Include1) existing <br />and proposed additional parking spaces; 2) estimated total average daily traffic <br />generated;3) estimated maximum peak hour traffic generated and time of occurrence; <br />4) source of trip generation rates used in the estimates;and 5) availability of transit <br />and/or other alternative transportation modes. <br />Parking <br />There areapproximately 344 parking stalls on the existing site. Those existing stalls will be <br />replaced with 1,012newparkingstalls that are planned to be provided with the proposed <br />development, for a net increase of 681stalls. A parking study will be completedto <br />demonstrate that the amount of parking provided between the two developments will meet <br />city requirements. <br />Traffic Generation <br />The trip generation for the proposed development was calculated using information within <br />the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Trip Generation Manual, Tenth Edition. Standard <br />ITE trip rates were used to develop the gross new trips generated by the project. Reductions <br />were then applied to the trips generated to account for internal capture and pass-by trips. <br />The development site is expected to generate an estimated 290(140in and 150out) <br />driveway trips during the AMpeak hourand an estimated 405(185in and 140 out)driveway <br />Twin Lakes Station19 March 2020 <br /> <br />
