30 remaining code violations, ownership needs to submit a Corrective Action Plan to the Fire Marshal as <br />31 previously outlined in the February 25, 2020 letter. In the interim, staff imposed a mandatory Fire Watch <br />32 (Attachment F) to begin immediately and continue until such time as the fire suppression system ismade <br />33 fully operational or an approved appeal is granted by the Board of Appeals and Adjustments.A Fire Watch <br />34 is established under the Fire Code and requires human monitoring for smoke/fire due to the absence of an <br />35 operable fire suppression system. <br />36 On April 10, 2020, an appeal of the notice of an unsafe building determination was received by the City <br />37 Manager (Attachment G). Due to this appeal, the Building Official posted the property with a suspension of <br />38 the order to vacate, pending hearing by the Board of Appeals and Adjustments on April 20, 2020 <br />39 (Attachment H). <br />40 S TAFF R ECOMMENDATION <br />41 Staff recommends that City Council deny the appeal by Perdin LLC (Norwood Inn & Suites), upholding the <br />42 revocation of the Certificate of Occupancy, condemnation and order to vacate the building, structures and <br />43 premises at 2401 Prior Ave. N., Roseville, MN 55113.
