We expect this amount may be slightly higher than last year. 81 P OLICY O BJECTIVE 82 To provide financial relief to Roseville residents and businesses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 83 B UDGET I MPLICATIONS 84 The cost for reducing and returning portions of city fees to Roseville residents and businesses is 85 estimated to be about$60,000. Detailed breakdowns of these amounts are provided above. 86 S TAFF R ECOMMENDATION 87 Staff asks that the Council review staff’s proposal. If found acceptable, the City Council should 88 authorize staff to refund six weeks of the liquor license fee to on-sale liquor license holders in 89 recognition of their closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the City Council should 90 direct staff to bring forward an ordinance amendment to lower the 2020-2021 license fees by 25% 91 for massage therapy establishments, massage therapists, and tobacco shops.
