The Commission discussed the options for moving forward with their recommendation. <br />Commissioner Stoner withdrew his priormotion. Commissioner Baggenstoss withdrew his second. <br />Commissioner Baggenstoss motioned to table the discussion until there has been a reasonable <br />and creative thought process on the .5 acre land dedication for Midland Legacy Estates - 2395 <br />County Road B W. Seconded by Commissioner Stoner. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Arneson, Baggenstoss, Brown, Dahlstrom, Heikkila, Lenhart, O’Brien, and Stoner. <br />Nays: Hoag. <br /> <br /> <br />Chair Hoag motioned for staff to work with the developer on an agreeable price for the parcel <br />across the street from Midland Legacy Estates to bring another usable park to the SW quadrant <br />of the city. Seconded by Commissioner Arneson. <br /> <br /> Roll Call <br />Ayes: Arneson, Baggenstoss, Brown, Dahlstrom, Heikkila, Hoag, Lenhart, O’Brien and Stoner. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br /> <br />7) COVID-19 UPDATE RELATED TO PARKS AND RECREATION <br />Staff provided an introduction of Roseville Parks and Recreation’s response to Covid-19. Staff’s <br />main goals have been to have a planned and thorough approach, prioritize safety, share the important <br />role that Parks and Recreation plays in Covid-19 and always do what is right for Roseville. The <br />Covid-19 response can be broken down into three phases: <br /> Phase 1: Early Stages <br />o Facility Closures <br />o Program Cancellations <br />o Staffing Impacts <br /> Phase 2: Current Operation Plan <br />o Gradual Reopening of Select Facilities <br />o Modified Program Offerings <br />o Limited Traditional Programs and Events <br /> Phase 3: Looking to the Future <br />o Summer Programs and Events (Decision Timeline) <br />o Developing new programs and activities within new framework <br />o Parks <br />o Helping the Community heal <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br /> <br />
