REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: June 22, 2020 <br />Item No.: 7.d <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br />Item Description: Public Hearing to Consider Adopting Resolution Approving the Vacation of <br />Drainage and Utility Easements for Centre Pointe Business Park <br />1 B ACKGROUND <br />rd <br />2 As part of a proposed development and new plat called Centre Pointe Business Park 3 Addition <br />3 (Attachment E), the developer’s surveyor has recommended the vacation of all existing drainage and <br />4 utility easements on the site. This recommendation is based on the redevelopment of the site. The <br />5 proposed vacation is shown on the attached Vacation Exhibit (Attachment D). New drainage and <br />6 utility easementswould replace the easements to be vacated. Additional easements would be <br />7 dedicated over existing city utilities which do not currently have easements and along the new lot <br />rd <br />8 lines. These easements would be established when the final plat of Centre Pointe Business Park 3 <br />9 Addition is approved. <br />10 The vacation will be not be official until such time as the City Manager executes and records a <br />11 Notice of Completion of this vacation.
