In general, if the facts indicate the application meets 5 the relevant legal standards and will not compromise the public health, safety, and general welfare, then 6 the applicant is likely entitled to the approval. The City is, however, able to add conditions to a 7 subdivision approval to ensure that potential impacts to parks, schools, roads, storm sewers, and other 8 public infrastructure on and around the subject property are adequately addressed. Subdivisions may 9 also be modified to promote the public health, safety, general welfare, convenience, and good order of 10 the community, and to provide for the orderly, economical, and safe development of land, and to 11 promote housing affordability for all levels. 7f RCA Page 1 of 3
