Miscellaneous
• Report the sustainable initiatives and products Roseville uses. This complies with
GreenStep Cities actions under Best Practice 15, and showcases to the community the
sustainable initiatives Roseville is doing. More information available here.
• Attempt at least one EPPP campaign directed towards residents and businesses within
Roseville.
While Roseville already engages in the Biz Recycling initiative through Ramsey &
Washington Counties, Roseville could further the EPPP to additional businesses and
residents. Encouraging the public to engage in sustainable purchasing would further
reduce Roseville's carbon footprint and provide leadership to residents in
environmentally conscious purchasing.
• Conduct a training for staff on how to purchase environmentally friendly products.
Because Roseville has a multiplicity of departments and staff, hosting a training for
pertinent roles would be useful in getting everyone on board. Not everyone is educated
about sustainability, and the EPPP may be new to them. By hosting a training, everyone
can get on the same page, have their questions answered, and ensure more compliance
with the EPPP going forward.
Resources
The following is a list of resources for implementing the EPPP. These are broken down by
similar sections as above. These resources can be reformatted for future use and implementation.
Recycled -Content Products
• Carpet & Flooring: Mohawk
• Office Furniture: Commercial Furniture Services
• Paint: Amazon Paint
• Paper:
o GreenSeal
o Forest Stewardship Council- List of FSC Paper
o Sustainable Forestry Initiative
• Sanitary Paper:
o GreenSeal
