Water and Sanitary Sewer o Attended a Disaster Management for Water and Wastewater Utilities Training. o Collected water samples for bacteriological and disinfectant by-product testing. o Due to COVID 19, staff has stopped entering houses for such things as meter and radio replacements, high utility bill discussions, low water pressure testing. o Continued working with engineers and contractors to final out the Booster Station Phase 2 project. o Worked with engineers, consultants and contractors on starting and finishing the Fernwood lift station project. o Continued working with city engineers and consulting engineers and contractors on the Galtier lift station, the Booster Phase 3 and the 2020 PMP projects. o Replaced the 30" butterfly valve inside the Booster Station. o Repaired 14 broken water mains and one leaking gate valve. o Restored damaged boulevards from this past winter's broken water main repairs. o Worked with contractor and consulting engineers on Verizon's 5G upgrade on the water tower. o Assisted streets with snow removal. o Rented a pump twice to maintain the level in the Owasso Pond. New pumps have been ordered. o Rented a pump for the Arona pond. New pumps have been ordered. o Repaired the motor and pump 1 for St. Croix storm water pond lift station. o Repaired a manhole at County Road B & Dale Street. o Created the 2019 Water Quality Report and posted to the City's web site. o Began the 2020 hydrant flushing and sewer cleaning programs. o Attended OSHA and asset software training. o Replaced the fire alarm panel in City Hall. o Serviced the stand-by generators at City Hall and the Maintenance Facility. o Worked with contractor to wash windows in City Hall, the Police department, Maintenance Facility and the License Center.
