City Shredding Day was Saturday, September 12I'. There was a huge turn out and even <br />though the City had twice the capacity we normally have for this event, the trucks were <br />full by 11 AM and staff had to, unfortunately, turn away people in line. <br />The rescheduled City Clean Up Event will be held on Saturday, October 17ffi. Information <br />can be found on the City website by searching for "Clean up event." <br />City Council Update: <br />• Approved staff to go out for a Request For Proposal (RFP) for a Diversity, Inclusion and <br />Engagement consultant. The goal would be to have a consultant on board in late 2020. <br />Major Maintenance Activities: <br />• Street and Storm <br />o Finished 3rd Citywide sweep. <br />o Ongoing miscellaneous storm sewer maintenance. <br />o Ongoing mill, patch and spray patch delamination streets. <br />o Ongoing compost site turning and maintenance and deliveries. <br />o Ongoing sign work. <br />o Ongoing tree work. <br />o Ongoing Streetscape Maintenance <br />Water and Sanitary Sewer <br />o Staff began entering homes on August 25, 2020 for meter repairs. Due to <br />COVID, staff was only entering homes for Public Works emergencies. <br />o Collected water samples for bacteriological testing. <br />o Continued working with engineers and contractor on the punch list items for <br />Femwood lift station. <br />o Continued working with city engineers and consulting engineers and contractors <br />on the Galtier and Long Lake lift stations and the Booster Phase 3 Projects. <br />o Continued the 2020 hydrant flushing program. <br />o Continued the 2020 sewer inspection / cleaning programs. <br />o Continued working with our SCADA integrator (AE2S) on SCADA upgrades for <br />2020. <br />o Completed exercising 12" and larger -sized water main valves and began <br />exercising 6' and 8" valves. <br />Attachments: <br />A: <br />2020 Roseville Project Map <br />B: <br />2020 PMP Project Map <br />C: <br />2020 Pathway Project Map <br />D: <br />September Development Activity Report <br />E: <br />Sustainability Update <br />
