The first Energy Action Team meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 3, 2020, from 6:OOpm — 8:30pm. The Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) will facilitate the meeting, and compile the information from the meeting for the group. City Council Update: • Approved professional service contract for Engineering Services for Rehabilitation of Long Lake Lift Station. • Approved Cooperative Agreement with Ramsey County for Right of Way Acquisition for County Road B2 between Fairview Avenue and Hamline Avenue. • Approved St Rose of Lima Drainage Improvement Cooperative Agreement. • Approved a resolution setting the date of sale for the issuance of the City's 2020 General Obligation Bonds for December 7, 2020. These bonds will refinance previously issued bonds from 2011 at a better interest rate as well as new bonds to provide capital funding for the water utility. Major Maintenance Activities: • Street and Storm 0 10/20/20 7" snow, full plow. 0 1 l/11/20 5" snow, full plow. o Central Garage repairs and bugs worked out of all plow equipment. o Ongoing winter tree trimming of City boulevard trees. o Asphalt patches on 4 water breaks and 1 sanitary sewer repair. o Asphalt pavement repairs on hazard manholes we found when plowing. o Concrete sidewalk panels pulled and poured at Centre Pointe Dr. and Owasso Hills Drive. o Ongoing final sump cleaning before freeze up. o Ongoing Compost site maintenance. Site is approx. 60% full. o Finished 2021 PMP Storm Sewer and Sanitary Sewer inspections. Water and Sanitary Sewer o Continued repairing water meters and MIUs. o Collected water samples for bacteriological testing o Continued working with city engineers and consulting engineers and contractors on the Galtier and Long Lake lift stations and the Booster Phase 3 Proj ect. o Continued the 2020 sewer inspection / cleaning programs. o Continued working with our SCADA integrator (AE2S) on SCADA upgrades for 2020. o Repaired 4 broken water mains. o Laundered towels weekly used by office personnel for cleaning work areas o Replaced the pumps at Arona Storm Water Lift Station. o Worked with the property owner of Rosedale Market Place properties and a contractor to replace the service valve to Chili's Restaurant. o Worked with the contractor on the S. Owasso / Rice St. water main connection.
