communication and security system enhancements, perimeter security fencing and installation of additional water supply main to booster station and pressure relief vault. Lift Stations: The Gaultier Street Lift Station, located near Gaultier St and South Owasso Boulevard, will be rehabbed in 2021. The project will also include replacement of pumps, valves, electrical equipment, addition of a backup generator and addition of a new protective coating to the wet well. The Long Lake Lift Station, located on Long Lake Road south of County Road D will be replaced in 2021 with a grinder pump lift station. The new lift station will be relocated further from the road to protect the lift station and to make it safer to maintain and on higher ground as it is currently subject to street flooding. Storm sewer system improvements: Staff continues to analyze the existing drainage systems and localized flooding issues and is identifying mitigation projects. Staff is now working on developing a 2021 drainage improvement project to alleviate some of these flooding concerns. Staff has already identified several projects for 2021. Some ofthe projects include: Pavement Management Storm Water Upgrades: Miscellaneous storm sewer upgrades. Ramsey County Ditch 4 Replacement (RCD 4) o The existing ditch will be replaced with an 84" pipe. The replacement of the ditch will provide better stormwater hydraulics and minimize maintenance issues with the ditch. The installation of a pipe also allows a new pathway to be constructed over the pipe. In conjunction with Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District, storm sewer improvements at St Rose of Lima will be done. The parking lot will be reconfigured to reduce impervious surface and an underground storm sewer system will be installed. These improvements will reduce flooding in the neighborhood. 4. Other Improvements: 35W MnPASS Project (MNDOT): Construct MnPASS Express Lanes (one lane in each direction) in the middle of existing I-35W between County Road C in Roseville and Lexington Avenue (County Rd 17) in Blaine. Repave I-35W and ramps between County Road C in Roseville to just north of Sunset Ave (County Road 53) in Lino Lakes. Replace and repair bridges along the project area. Install noise walls on the east side of I-35W just north of the County Road C ramps to County Road D. Road shoulder preparation (fall 2018): Repairing road shoulders and constructing crossovers on I-35W north of County Road C. Contract will be awarded in October to Ames Construction which had the winning Design/Build Proposal. Total cost is $208 million. Major road work should be completed by the end of 2021. Snelling Signal Replacements (MNDOT): MnDOT will replace the signal systems at County Road C2 & Snelling and Roselawn and Snelling. ADA sidewalk improvements will be included at this intersection.
