Johnson, Taylor <br />9 <br />10 1) INTRODUCTIONS <br />11 Chair Hoag introduced the virtual Zoom format for the meeting due to the COVID-19 pandemic. <br />12 State Law allows for an exception to in-person public meetings during pandemics to ensure the <br />13 safety of commissioners, staff and the public. The public was still encouraged to participate in the <br />14 meeting using the Zoom platform. <br />15 <br />16 2) ROLL CALL/PUBLIC COMMENT <br />17 Roll Call Commissioners: Arneson, Baggenstoss, Brown, Carlson, Dahlstrom, Heikkila, Kim, <br />18 Lenhart, O’Brien, Hoag, and Stoner. <br />19 <br />20 Chair Hoag called for public comment by members of the audience. No one indicated a desire to <br />21 speak. <br />22 <br />23 3) APPROVAL OF MINUTES – DECEMBER 1, 2020 MEETING <br />24 <br />25 Commissioner Heikkila moved to approve the minutes. Commissioner O’Brien seconds. <br />26 <br />27 Roll Call <br />28 Ayes: Arneson, Baggenstoss, Brown, Dahlstrom, Heikkila, Hoag, Lenhart, O’Brien and Stoner. <br />29 Nays: None. <br />30 Abstain:None. <br />31 <br />324)PARK DEDICATION–196 AND 210 SO. MCCARRONS BOULEVARD <br />33 Staff provided a Park Dedication process and option review for the Commission. Staff next gave <br />34 details on the specific proposal for The Enclave at McCarron’s Lake. This request is for a proposed <br />35 subdivision directly across from Lake McCarrons at 196 and 210 So. McCarrons Boulevard. The <br />36 proposal includes 20 lots (17 new lots) on 5.42 acres. <br />37 <br />38Thisprojectwouldqualifyfor Park Dedication. The cash amount for the 17 additional lots/units <br />39would be $72,250 ($4,250 per additional lot).The land amount would be 10% of 5.42 acres or .54 <br />40acre. The developer has suggested that cash be accepted in lieu of land and be usedto help offset the <br />1 <br /> <br />
