Ayes: 4 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Abstain: 1 (Wozniak) <br />Motion carried. <br />4. Communication Items <br />City Engineer Jesse Freihammer provided a brief review and update on projects <br />and maintenance activities listed in the staff report dated November 24, 2020. <br />Vice Chair Huiett inquired what the acronym SCADA meant. <br />Mr. Freihammer indicated it is the communication for the lift station, but he was <br />not sure what the acronym meant. <br />Mr. Culver explained the acronym stands for Supervisory Control And Data <br />Acquisition. He noted this is a wide industry term and not just for utility use or <br />public works use. <br />Chair Wozniak asked if the bike path along County Road C extended to the <br />diagonal trail is complete. <br />Mr. Freihammer explained the Walnut Trail was completed approximately two to <br />three weeks ago and is usable for the public. <br />Chair Wozniak indicated he looked forward to hearing more about the trail along <br />County Road B2. <br />Youth Commission Lynch arrived at the meeting at 6:41 p.m. <br />5. Minnesota GreenCorps Member Introduction and Presentation <br />Mr. Johnson provided a brief review and update of the Minnesota GreenCorps <br />program listed in the staff report dated November 24, 2020. <br />Mr. Johnson introduced Mr. Will Ristow who reviewed his background and gave a <br />presentation to the PWETC. <br />Chair Wozniak asked what interaction Mr. Ristow has had with County staff, if <br />any. He wondered what the County goals are with GreenCorp activity. <br />Mr. Ristow indicated right now he is getting an inventory of what cities are looking <br />for and what the cities will be willing to collaborate on in regard to sustainability. <br />Member Spencer asked for more information on fleet electrification and <br />prioritization. <br />Page 2 of 6 <br />
