The Cityrnay request tours of the Formatted: rbnc lrauc <br />Respondents' designated Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) during this interview period. <br />Following the interviews and any tours) of the designated MRF(s), the committee will <br />recommend proposal rankings to the City Council. <br />Upon direction from the City Council, City staff will negotiate terms of the final contract with <br />the top -ranked Respondent. If negotiations with the top -ranked Respondent are not successful, <br />the City will negotiate with the second -ranked Respondent, and so on. <br />After a final draft Ceontract has been negotiated, City staff will present a recommended <br />Ceontract to the City Council. The City Council may then award the Ceontract and authorize <br />staff to execute it. <br />It is anticipated the new Recycling contract will be executed by approximately time 18, 2021 <br />and collection operations under the new Contract will commence on January 1, 2022. Transition <br />operations under the new Contract, such as cart switches and related public education, may occur <br />prior to collection operations. <br />3.24.2 Assumptions to be used for Proposals <br />The City shall use following assumptions for purposes of evaluating all proposals on the same <br />basis: <br />t Annual recyclable tonnage collected curbside under the City contract= 3,300 tons per <br />year. <br />t Annual recyclable tonnage collected at Multi -Unit Dwellings under the City contract= <br />600 tons per year. <br />t Single Unit Dwellings and other units that receive curbside service using curbside bins = <br />9,434 units. <br />t Multi -unit dwellings that will receive respective collection service = 6,574 housing units <br />at 94 locations. <br />t Annual recyclable tonnage collected at City Parks and other municipal facilities = �ZZ commented [an]: Ryan w�u rone� <br />Commented [MMI]: Ryan sent inquiry to Eureka <br />3.34.3 Proposal Contents <br />Qualified proposals must include the Proposal Content Checklist (Attachment B) and all items <br />listed on the checklist. <br />3.44.4 Proposal Evaluation <br />Table 2 displays the proposal evaluation criteria and category weightings that will be used to <br />score and rank proposals submitted.
