Below is a link to that webinar. <br />Why Treaties Matter, and How They Shape our Communities Today <br />(Video link) <br />Requested Commission Action: Discuss and provide advice and potential <br />recommendations on next steps. Possible considerations may include: <br />If the Commission wishes to hear from more experts and/or leaders, what <br />specifically do they wish to learn? <br />Are there others that the Commission would like to hear from? <br />How should this process be communicated to the public? <br />What timing and form of community engagement makes sense (note, as of today, <br />Pocahontas Park is scheduled for Discover Your Parks on August 4, 2021). <br />6.RecreationProgram Review <br />As possible, throughout the year and seasons, various staff members attend your meeting <br />to discuss what is going on in their particular area and gather your thoughts and feedback. <br />This month, Carrie Anderson, Recreation Superintendent will be at the meeting to provide <br />you an overview of the recreation area. <br />Requested Commission Action: Review and provide feedback. <br />7.Election of Chair andVice-Chair <br />Per City Code, the election of officers occur at the last meeting preceding the end of regular <br />terms of appointment. This is the time to elect the Chair and Vice-Chair for the upcoming <br />year. The election may occur by voice vote or secret ballot depending on the Commissions <br />wishes. <br /> <br />
