Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: February 23, 2021 Item No: 4 <br />Item Description: Communication Items <br />Public Works Project updates: <br />• 2021 Sewer Lining <br />o The contact was awarded to Visu-Sewer on November 30, 2020. The project consists <br />on lining 7.12 miles of pipe within the city. Work has been ongoing since December <br />and is ten percent completed. All work is expected to be completed on the project by <br />the end of July. <br />• Galtier Lift Station <br />o The project includes the upgrade of the sanitary sewer lift station at Galtier Street just <br />south of South Owasso Drive. The project was awarded to Pember Construction, Inc. <br />on June 8. Major work is expected to begin in the spring of 2021. <br />• Cleveland Watermain Project <br />o The contract for this project was awarded on February 22 to SGP Contracting, Inc. <br />Work involves the replacement of the watermain between County Road C2 and County <br />Road D. No road closures are anticipated but traffic on Cleveland Avenue will be <br />reduced to one lane in each direction. <br />• St Rose of Lima Drainage Improvements <br />o Bids were opened on February 3 and is scheduled to be awarded to OMG Midwest on <br />February 22. The project is a joint project with Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed <br />District. Work involves reducing the impervious amount of the parking lot, installation <br />of rain gardens and installation of an underground storage system. The improvements <br />will reduce runoff and provide treatment which should help reduce flooding in the <br />neighborhood. The project is anticipated to begin in the spring and be completed by <br />mid -August. <br />County Road B Sewer Improvements <br />o Bids were opened on February 4 and the contract is scheduled to be awarded to SGP <br />Contracting Inc. on February 22. Work involves repairing and upgrading the sanitary <br />sewer system in three locations on County Road B between Dale Street and Cohansey <br />Street. The project will be coordinated with Neel Energy's gas replacement project on <br />County Road B. Road closures and detours will be needed for the work and will be <br />communicated to residents and business when the dates are known. <br />Ramsey County Updates <br />• County Road B2 Resurfacing and Signal Improvements <br />o This summer the County plans to resurface County Road B2 between Fairview Avenue <br />and Hamline Avenue. As part of the project they will be replacing three signal lights in <br />
