Additionally, a new <br />pathway will be installed on the north side of County Road B2, under the Snelling <br />Avenue bridge between the ramps. <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation updates: <br />• I-35W MnPASS project- <br />http://www.dot.state.mn.us/metro/projects/35wnorthmnyass/index.html <br />o Construct MnPASS Express Lanes (one lane in each direction) in the middle of existing <br />I-35W between County Road C in Roseville and Lexington Avenue (County Rd 17) in <br />Blaine. <br />o Repave I-35W and ramps between County Road C in Roseville to just north of Sunset <br />Ave (County Road 53) in Lino Lakes. <br />o Replace and repair bridges along the project area <br />o Install noise walls on the east side of I-35W just north of the County Road C ramps to <br />County Road D. <br />o Rosegate west of Cleveland Avenue will be closed through November to accommodate <br />bridge reconstruction. <br />o Contract was awarded in October 2018 to Ames Construction which had the winning <br />Design/Build Proposal. Total cost is $208 million. <br />o Work in this last year of the project will likely begin in April and will continue through <br />the end of 2021. <br />o The northbound 35W exit ramps to County Road C/Cleveland Avenue will be closed <br />starting March 1 through the summer until the ramp is rebuilt. The detour will be <br />posted to exit onto County Road D. <br />Sustainability Update <br />• Partners in Energy <br />o Mike Holsinger from the Center for Energy and Environment, and lead facilitator for <br />our PiE meetings, will provide an overview presentation and answer questions at our <br />February Commission meeting. <br />• Voluntary Benchmarking Program <br />The Voluntary Benchmarking Program webpage is live, and can be found at <br />www.CityOfRoseville.com/VoluntaryBenchmarking. <br />Staff have been meeting with Hennepin County and Center for Energy and Environment <br />to get assistance in setting up the program. Staff sent the first mailing to inform <br />business, non -profits, faith organizations, etc., about the new voluntary program. Staff <br />will start advertising the program through our social media outlets once our workshops <br />with Hennepin County and CEE are scheduled. The workshops will provide <br />information on how the program works and what is needed for interested properties to <br />track their energy consumption. <br />Receive Sustainability Updates <br />o The City of Roseville is committed to protecting its valuable natural resources and is <br />working to build a sustainable future for all. hi recent years, the city has undertaken <br />several large projects including installing solar panels and geothermal technology, <br />implementing stormwater practices to filter runoff, reducing salt usage and other efforts. <br />
