Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: February 23, 2021 <br />Item Description: Partners in Energy Update <br />Background: <br />Item No: 5 <br />In July 2020, the City was informed that its application to participate in Xcel Energy's Partners <br />in Energy (PiE) Program was approved. Staff have been working with Xcel Energy and the <br />Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) to move the program forward. Staff are very excited <br />with how the program is progressing, and the advancements we are making to establish goals and <br />strategies in order to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. <br />The Energy Action Team has met three times, and the focus areas of the Energy Action Plan are <br />starting to take shape. There are two more team meetings scheduled.
