The Voluntary Benchmarking Program webpage is live, and can be found at www. CityOfRoseville. com/VoluntaryBenchmarking. Staff held a virtual Voluntary Benchmarking Webinar on Thursday March 8. This webinar was on the importance of voluntary benchmarking, how reporting works, and how to report owner building data into portfolio manager. The webinar is intended for any commercial, industrial, and non-profit property owners willing to participate. The goal is to both inform Roseville businesses about the possibility for energy savings as well for these properties to save money by becoming more energy efficient over time. Another webinar is scheduled for Thursday April 8 for properties that couldn't make it to the first meeting. Staff are working diligently to increase awareness of the program, and outreach to properties will be a priority through the next webinar. Zoning Code Upate o The Community Development Department is leading an effort to update the City's Zoning Code which the set of rules that identifies how individual properties within the City can be used. It also sets standards for how buildings may be developed or changed. A key component of this update process is outreach and engagement. Towards that end a series of meetings will be hosted on a variety of topics related to the Zoning Code. The first of those meetings will be held on Thursday, March 25`t' and will focus on Equity and Inclusion/Sustainability and Resilience. Members of the PWET Commission should have received an invite for this meeting and they are encouraged to attend one of the two meetings on this data. Public Works Staff Update: • Stephanie Smith is the new Assistant City Engineer. She started on March 10. City Council Update: • Approved preliminary plat for The Woods of Roseville • Approved preliminary plat for the Enclave at McCarron Lake • Approved RFP for Recycling Services • Approved contract for County Road B Sewer Improvements • Approved contract for St Rose of Lima Drainage Improvements • Approved contract for Cleanup Day Services Major Maintenance Activities: • Street and Storm o Two asphalt plants opened 3/15/21 o Last three water break repairs have been temporarily patched with asphalt vs concrete. o Miscellaneous patching. o Last 3 snow events have pushed our seasonal total of snow over 40" o Ongoing tree trimming continues. o Ongoing sign work continues. o ManagerPlus Central Garage Fleet software program is up and running. Water and Sanitary Sewer o Continued repairing water meters and MIUs. o Continuing the process of collecting water service data and upgrading water meters and MIUs in park buildings.
