Our primary electronic education tool is our ReCollect app, which residents can use on <br />our website or by downloading the mobile app to their phone (see details below). <br />We are also active on social media, using Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to share zero <br />waste news and resources with our community. <br />♦ Do you propose to have Roseville -specific content on your web site? ®Yes ❑ No <br />If yes, please describe. <br />Our website includes general recycling information that applies to all of the cities we <br />serve and also includes links to each city's annual recycling guide for specific details. <br />Our recycling app also includes a calendar tool that is embedded on our website where <br />any resident can look up their collection schedule by searching for their specific address. <br />Residents can alsolook up items to see if they can be recycled even if they don't want to <br />download the mobile version of the app. <br />♦ Roseville's current contractor uses a Recycling app for residents to get customized <br />Recycling messages sent to their smart phone or other mobile device. Do you <br />propose to use a similar app? ®Yes ❑ No If yes, please identify the app, any <br />current municipal customers that use it, and describe how it will work for Roseville <br />including roll -out schedule. <br />We currently use the ReCollect app for all of the communities we work with, including <br />Roseville. Residents have the option to download the free mobile app by searching for <br />"Eureka Recycling" in their app store, or using all of the features of the app directly on <br />our website. The app includes the following features in both the web and mobile <br />versions: <br />o An interactive calendar where residents can view their collection schedule and <br />sign up to receive alerts by text, email, pop up notification, or automated phone <br />call (our customer service team can also set up reminder calls for a resident if they <br />want a reminder and do not have intemet access). <br />o A "Can I Recycle This?" tool where residents can look up specific items to find <br />out if they can be recycled in their program. <br />o Our new sorting game, "Ready, Set, Sort!" which is a fun way for people of all <br />ages to learn more about recycling. <br />♦ What other (non -electronic) public education efforts have you used successfully in <br />the past that are directly relevant to scope of service described in this RFP? <br />We have a recycling-themed sorting game that we bring to community events along with <br />educational resources. The game is a fun way to engage with kids and their parents, and <br />share information about recycling and zero waste. <br />♦ What are your plans for additional public education efforts? <br />We don't have any additional plans at this time but will be happy to discuss additional <br />outreach and education strategies with the city at any time. <br />♦ Describe your plan for the annual Recycling participation and contamination study. <br />Our annual participation study includes the analysis of six weeks of data from the <br />RFP for City of Roseville Recycling Services • D-23 <br />
