<br />Continued page II <br /> <br />210 <br /> <br />Mr. JaB Lynch Jr. attorney for the Roseville area near Lauderdale along with Mr. <br />Klohn were present to discuss with the Council their problems. Mr LJ'l1ch told of their <br />needs and the availability of services they desired from Lauderdale Village. They had <br />petitions prepared to submit to u8,and the Northern states Power Co. were preparing <br />the necessary papers to join with them. <br />Mr. Karon said we were not prepared to accept same being it did not contain all <br />the signatures needed. Mayor Connor told the group we were making plans to relieve their <br />problem and was very encouraged by the progress made. The excessive water condition <br />that has probably caused the contamination of a rew wells was not caused by anything <br />Roseville has done,it has come from the Lauderdale area..and U. of M Golf Course. After <br />much discussion the matter of a decision was postponed until a future date after a <br />report by the Engineer was made. <br /> <br />Mr. Hite was present to discuss further, portions of our Insurance program that has <br />not been adopted. He explained two of the policies that had not been taken out yet. He <br />i8 talking over the program with Mr DesLauriers about his end of the Insurance covering <br />the Fire Trucks. <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Connor that we purchase two insurellce policies,One <br />Standard Minnesota Statuatory Liquor Liability and One Fire ,Extended Coverage and <br />Vandalism on Contents of Liquor store. from the 1m. Hite Agency. Roll call, Ayes-(5) <br />Nayes-(O) . <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson of 1973 No. Lexington inquired about the grading of ~van Ave. He has <br />not been able to get together with Mr Ratfield,The Clerk was asked tb have an easement <br />drawn up for Ryan Ave for a distance of 660 feet along Peterson's property. <br /> <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Carlson that the meeting be continued:Friday May 9 at <br />3.00 O'Clock P.M.
