The map of <br />the area was gone over and size of buffer strips considered~ Mayor Connor said <br />the Rule would. like to build a road on the north sid~ of their property, north <br />of T.R. 36 and would not object to anything within reason, and 18ndscaping would <br />be very generous. <br /> <br />It was suggested Carley make a drawing of the changes suggested, then submit <br />them to the Rule for their approval and then submit a new petition with the new <br />changes. Connor moved, seconded by Hamnersten, that engineer prepare a new plan <br />of the area in line with discussions 'fhich took place. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-( 0). <br /> <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Rammersten <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that Falcon Heights Bffi1k be designated as bank for deposits <br />of Liquor St.ore Funds with ffi1 amount to $25,000.00. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that st. Anthony Park Bank be designated as bank for deposits <br />of General Funds with an amount to $25,000.00. <br /> <br />Roll call Ayes-(5) Na~res-(O). <br /> <br />Hamrnersten moved, Willmus seconded, that we take over Transit Ave. eatt of <br />Dale st. for liB mile on rccocrmendation of Carley that the road was graded properly. <br />Roll èall Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />M~or Connor suggested that we ought to get together on the truck matter. <br />Willmus reported on conversation he had with Mr. Flowers of F.W.D. Company, who <br />would be willing to release us on a purchase of an 8 ton truck. He thought two <br />sma.ller trucks would be better to start with. M"mbrez asked if the committee was <br />agreed on the trucks. Carley said he was still sold on an 8 ton truck. Membrcz <br />said he was still in favor of the county removing our snow as they have done a good <br />job in the past. Tony Schmidt said he did not knOTi how much long~r we could. expect <br />the county to do our work. <br /> <br />Connor moved, seconded by Hammersten, that Willmus go to the F.W.D. Company <br />and secure a letter releasing us from purchasing an 8 ton truck. Roll call <br />Ayes-(4) Carlson, Willmus, Connor and Harnmerstcn Nayes-(l) Membrez. <br /> <br />Connor moved, seconded by Willcus, providing we get a release from an 8 ton <br />truck, that we advertise for bids for a 4 ton P.W.D. truck with snow plow. This, <br />however, was not the recommendation of the Village Engineer. Roll call Ayes-(3) <br />Carlson, Willmus and Connor Nayes-(2) Mèmbrez and H~~ersten. <br /> <br />Connor instructed Willmus and Carley to draw up specifications for a 4 ton <br />four wheel drive truck and snow plow, complete with lights, and submit to Karon for <br />) his approval. Also to draw up specifications for a power grader. <br />.. <br /> <br />Herb Lynch, Olson and Art Carrier of the Fire Dept. appeared before the <br />Council at our request regarding the election held recently. Mayor Connor expressed <br />the appreciation of the good work the Dept. had done the past year. Although the <br />expense has doubled, it was something we could not control. <br />
