Zoning Code Update <br />o The Community Development Department is leading an effort to update the City's <br />Zoning Code, the set of rules that identifies how individual properties within the City <br />can be used. It also sets standards for how buildings may be developed or changed. A <br />key component of this update process is outreach and engagement. Towards that end, a <br />series of meetings will be hosted on a variety of topics related to the Zoning Code. The <br />first of those meetings was held on Thursday, March 25, and focused on Equity and <br />Inclusion/Sustainability and Resilience. More information about these specific <br />meetings, how to register and about the overall Zoning Code Update project can be <br />found at the following webpage http://citvofroseville.com/zoningupdate. <br />Major Maintenance Activities: <br />• Street and Storm <br />o Ongoing asphalt patching. <br />o Ongoing sign work. <br />o Ongoing message painting. <br />o Monthly compost turning. <br />o Compost deliveries <br />o Mulched landscaped areas. <br />o Ongoing weeding of streetscape areas. <br />o Completed third mowing. <br />o Working on pathway at Centre Pointe Drive. <br />o Repairing catch basins. <br />Water and Sanitary Sewer <br />o Continued flushing and inspecting fire hydrants. <br />o Continued repairing water meters and MIUs. <br />o Continuing the process of collecting water service data and upgrading water meters and <br />MIUs in park buildings. <br />o Collected water samples for bacteriological testing. <br />o Continued with our annual valve exercising program (12" and larger). <br />o Continued the Sanitary Sewer Cleaning Program for 2021. <br />o Completed the Galtier sanitary sewer lift station project. <br />o Continued working with engineering staff and the contractor on the Cleveland Avenue <br />Water Main Project, The Enclave at McCarron's Lake and the 2021 PMP. Staff has <br />also worked with MnDOT and their contractor on the 16" water main replacement <br />under the 35W Bridge over County Road C. <br />o Continued working with AE2S on the 2021 SCADA System Upgrades. <br />o The City Hall painting project has started in the Engineering department and will wrap <br />up this week The painters will then work on the Police department.
