The question
was asked about the wcrd "construct" being dropped. Karon felt it shou¡d be left
in, but if the legislature wanted to take the word out, it was up to them. Karon
sug¡ested we contact Senators Andersen and Siegel and ask them to leave the word
"construction" in as lon" as possible. If they feel the bill wil¡_JJ.qsS easier by
taking out the word, we sug~est they move to amend the bill sothe~ld come out
of the Ramsey County Senate delegation favorably.

The Clerk read a petition from 17 property owners within the vicinity of
No. Chatsworth and Roma st. protesting the location and arrangement of dwellings
and garages on the Roberts Addition No.1. M11ner carley, the Village Engineer,
explained that there was a dotted buiJd:i1g line on both ROIl1a and Chatsworth st~.
which means that no one can build either a house or a gara¡:e closer to the right
of way than the building line. This plat is recorded in the Ramsey County Abstract
Office and is on file at all times so that any future purchaser of the home will
know that he cannot build clost~r to the highway than is perIAi tted by that line on
the plat.

Membrez moved, seconded by Carlson, that we continua the lI.eeting to Thursday
hve.
