Heimbach said he had contacted 105 people and they were all in favor of <br />the things that had bcen requested and saw no reason for making any chémges. <br /> <br />Mr. Hacnuond said the Zoning BOéll'd had done II good Job and come up with some <br />good recommendations and felt the Council s}lould contact the Allied Stores regarding <br />the various ch:mges that had been suggested. <br /> <br />lÆembrez said we should inquire about the 75 ft. strip on the west of the Bolstad <br />Addition along Fry st. and get a letter ill writing from the Allied Stores saying no <br />road would be constructed south of the 75 ft. buffer strip on the south side of the <br />Bolstad Addition. <br />the Allied StorEk~ <br />Mr. Franke said the south side of ':'.H. 36 was only a futuristic plan amI/should <br />be more definite in the plan for that south side of the highway. <br /> <br />Hayor Connor said the reason the Allied StorBs had no representation here was <br />that they did not want to create any animosity. <br /> <br />Several members of the Council felt we should go along with the Zoning Boartl <br />recommendation on the roadway agreement and. that the Allied Stores should be <br />contacted about the various requests made. <br /> <br />Mr. Roland West representing Donald West 1131 w. County Road B appeared re- <br />ùarding the petition of Charles Krause for the rezoning of lots 13 and 14 on the <br />NY! corner of Lexington and County Road B. Discussion was held on the merits of the <br />location, whether it Vias logically a business site or would someone care to build <br />a home on the lots so close to the present business on the conner. After a lot of <br />discussion and drawing of proposed restriction lines and lot lines, Connor {:Joved, <br />seconded by Hammersten, that we rezone lots IJ and 14 as set forth, providing Mr. <br />Krause agrees for a set-back 15 ft. from the west line of lot 13. Roll call <br />Ayes-( 5) Nayes-( 0). <br /> <br />Thomas Shifsky appeared regarding tho conversation he had with Mayor Connor <br />and Carlson about the use of the dump on County Road E east of Victoria for a fee <br />of $250 per year. Mombrez moved, seconded by Hammer~ten, that we pay Shifsky <br />$250 for the use of the rlurap for one year effective April 1st, anò that the Clerk <br />publish notice of such action and have directional signs ordered for various <br />locations and have publicity in the Rose Tribune, notifying the people that Rose- <br />ville now has a dump.
