The street <br />should be graded all the way through to the end. Portions of it have been graded <br />and could be cut down about two feet more. It was suggested Carley Bet stakes <br />East to Koalska property and have it graded up to that point and do the best "e <br />could on the rest of the road east of there after the survey by Carley has been made. <br /> <br />Mr. Pomerenke, 2994 Mildred Drive, appeared with several questions. One - a <br />neighbor has a large blue outhouse on the highest part of his lot and he wan-+;,ed <br />to know if we could have it removed. Membrez moved, seconded by Hammersten, that the <br />matter be referred to the Health Department. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Mr. Pomerenke also asked what could be done about a tarpaper shack that a <br />neighbor used to raise chickens. It has been empty 2! years. The matter was <br />reíerred to the Fire Marshall. He also wanted to know if a street light could <br />be erected on Lydia and Mildred Drive. This was referred to Street Commissioner. <br /> <br />The job specification of Road OVerseer was read by the Clerk and the question <br />was brought up if his duties meant that he was to do some of the work also. It <br />was suggested that the following paragraph be added. <br /> <br />"The road overseer, when not occupied by supervisor'J duties, shall operate <br />the various pieces of equipment and perform neces~~ry labor work in <br />connection with the road work, and also have a driver' 5 license permibtdng <br />him to drive Village owned equipment." <br />'ob <br />Connor moved, seconded by Hamrnersten, that thJspeciíications be approved. <br />Roll call Ayes-(5) N~es-(O). <br /> <br />The job specifications of Road Foreman were read by the Clerk. Roll call Ayes-(u) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Mr. Mattson appeared before the Council regarding the sa.le of some lots at <br />the rear of his property. The Çouncil is interested in getting an easement <br />thro~gh Sandhurst. The file was to be checked for correspondence with him in <br />1949 and report later. He was asked to give us an idea of how much money he <br />would have to have for right-of-way, and if he would try to ~ell the north 35 ft. <br />to the owner of the lot on the north side of the lot in question. <br /> <br />Jim Borden inquired about building a concrete garage in the ground 20 ft. <br />back from the property line.
