Hammersten moved, <br />Carlson seconded, that the problem be referred to the Engineer and that <br />he submit a report to the Council. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Mr. Dehn from the Land Commissioners Office was present to report <br />that on the 9th of July they got the land forfeiture report on tax- <br />forfeited lands, and there was one parcel in Rosevil1e. Carley suggest- <br />ed that it be withheld from sale long enough to know the exact location <br />and whether any use could be made of it. Hammersten moved, Membrez <br />seconded, that this parcel of land be approved as non-conservation land <br />and that it be withheld from public sale. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Ed Salverda asked if there could be a Village ordinance setting a <br />re-inspection fee as other communities have. If the work isn't done <br />right and has to be re-inspected, he has to make extra trips with no re- <br />imbursement. Carlson moved, Connor seconded, that the Attorney draw up <br />an ordinance to permit the charging of a re-inspection fee of one-half <br />the original fee. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Clerk asked about that section of the Building Code which prohibits <br />property owners running the effluent from their septic tanks out onto <br />their yards and onto the street. A little discussion was had on the <br />matter and no decision made. <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, Wi11mus seconded, that we adjourn.
