<br />Fage 5. <br /> <br />There was much discussion in regard to needed policing and juvenile <br />delinquents. The duties and manner of paying the Village Constable was <br />also discussed. <br /> <br />The 1954 budget is set up to cover a Folice Dept. as covered by a previous <br />report presented by Mr. Membrez. <br /> <br />Karon suggested the matter be put over until the Saturday meeting and he <br />will present a written report in regard to the duties of the Constable. <br /> <br />Clerk read recommendation from Engineer in regard to Roseville Terrace <br />Hammerston moved, seconded by Connor that the recommendation of the <br />Engineer be adopted after the 30 ft. setbacks have been provided on <br />comer lots. Roll call Ayes-( 5) Na¡yes-( 0). <br /> <br />Clerk read recommendations of the Engineer in regard to FernW'ood Terrace <br />Flats #3 and #4. <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by Connor, Fernwood Terrace Plats #3 and #4 <br />according to recommendations of the Engineer be approved. Roll call <br />Ayes-(S) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />The clerk reported the Gopher Stamp and Die do not give the County a <br />special price on street signs so we could get theM for the same price. <br /> <br />The Clerk reported a call from Mrs. Measler wanting to divide her property <br />into a pie-shaped lot and set her house back. <br /> <br />Mr. .Membrez also talked to Mrs. Measler and advised her he would ask the <br />Village Engineer to call her. <br /> <br />Mr. Willmus brought up the subject of garage space for the new snow plows <br />and the fact the Bookmobile truck now has the garage space. Something <br />must be done to provide space fop the new plows. <br /> <br />Connor brought up the subject of a change in the type of government for <br />fast growing Village. There are four different types of government that <br />can be used. He wondered if the matter should be considered this fall. <br /> <br />R.L. Crosse, 999 Como Place, appeared before the council in regard to <br />having been given a tag for violation 1111-1. driving west of Lexington on <br />Larpenteur Avenue by a deputy sheriff and being fined by Justice of the <br />Peace Lebens $20.00 as he did not have his license with him.
