Septic Tanks <br /> <br />The clerk read a letter from Mr. Williams, Supt. of Roseville Schools, invi- Supt. of <br />ting the Council members to be guests at a luncheon so they could see the Schools <br />sewage plant in operation during the nice weather. Invitation <br /> <br />The clerk was authorized to send a letter thanking them and accepting the <br />invitation for Tuesday, November 3rd, before the next regular meeting. <br /> <br />Discussion was held in regard to amending the $3,.00 fee for electrical <br />contractors due to the number of complaints that the fee was too high. <br />It was stated that $10.00 and $l'.OO was the average fee paid in cities <br />of similar class. It was agreed to drop the subject and leave the <br />ordinance as adopted. <br /> <br />Mr. Carley was excused. <br /> <br />Karon was requested to draw up an ordinance to cover the licensing of <br />plumbers. <br /> <br />Electrical <br />Fee. <br /> <br />Clerk read Carley's recommendations for purchasing Diesel Oil.and Gasoline. Diesel Oil <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Connor, that the recommendatàons of~the Engineer <br />be accepted and we advertize for bids for Diesel oil/~ bsaSß~8 November <br />3rd, at 2:00 PUl. Roll call Ayes-(5) Na;res-(O). <br /> <br />Mr. Connor reported on the progress made on the revision of the Building <br />Code and another meeting would be held Saturday, October 24, 1953. <br /> <br />The Clerk read the recommendations of the Engineer for the assessment <br />schedule for the recently completed grading of Roma Avenue. The matter <br />is to be put over until the next regular meeting when Karon -.rill have a <br />resolution covering the matter. <br /> <br />Clerk read letter from Mr. Fabianski, Safety Chairman, Lexington School <br />P.T.A., suggesting additional police protection. <br />
