b. Locations of existing and proposed buildings, parking lots, roads, and other improvements; 3539 <br />c. Existing topography and proposed grading with contour intervals no greater than 2 feet; 3540 <br />d. Location and diameter of trees and common names of existing trees and shrubs; 3541 <br />e. Planting schedule containing symbols, quantities, common and botanical names, size of plant 3542 <br />materials, and root condition; 3543 <br />f. Planting details illustrating proposed locations of all new plant materials; 3544 <br />g. Locations and details of other landscape features including berms, retaining walls, fences, 3545 <br />walls, sculptures, fountains, street furniture, lights, courtyards, and planters; 3546 <br />h. Details of restoration of disturbed areas including areas to be sodded or seeded; 3547 <br />i. Location and details of irrigation systems; 3548 <br />j. Details and cross sections of all required non-vegetative screening; 3549 <br />k. Description of the method to be employed for the protection of all existing landscape 3550 <br />materials to be saved; and 3551 <br />l. Planting and installation details as necessary to ensure conformance with all required 3552 <br />standards. 3553 <br />8. Maintenance: The continued maintenance of all required landscaping materials in a live and 3554 <br />healthy state is a requirement of this Section and is the responsibility of the owner and tenant of 3555 <br />the property on which the materials are required. This requirement shall run with the land and be 3556 <br />binding upon all future property owners. Failure to comply with this requirement shall be a 3557 <br />violation of this Section. 3558 <br />a. All new landscape plans shall be accompanied by a landscape maintenance plan that includes 3559 <br />all initial plant warranties, the plan for mulch restoration, and all pertinent contact 3560 <br />information. 3561 <br />b. Plantings shall be maintained in a neat, healthy condition and comply with the site 3562 <br />maintenance plan approved by the Community Development Department. Plantings which 3563 <br />have died shall be promptly replaced in accordance with a landscape plan approved by the 3564 <br />City for the site. 3565 <br />9. Security: 3566 <br />a. Landscape Security Required: Prior to the issuance of a building permit for all projects 3567 <br />requiring approval of a landscape plan, the developer, contractor, or property owner shall 3568 <br />deposit a security with the City to guarantee compliance with and to indemnify the City for 3569 <br />any expenses incurred in enforcing the requirements of this Section. 3570 <br />i. One- and Two-family Dwellings: Landscape security for detached or attached one- or 3571 <br />two-family dwellings shall be a cash escrow in the amount of $500.00. 3572 <br />ii. All Other Uses: Landscape security for all uses except detached or attached one- or two-3573 <br />family dwellings shall be in a form approved by the Community Development 3574 <br />Department and shall be equal to 125% of the estimated cost necessary to furnish and 3575
