Membership: In accordance with MN Stat. 462.354, as may be amended, the Variance Board 1084 shall be comprised of 3 members and 1 alternate appointed by the City Council from among the 1085 members of the Planning Commission. 1086 2. Duties: The Variance Board shall hear and make decisions on all applications for a variance from 1087 the literal provisions of this Title. 1088 3. Meetings: The Variance Board shall meet on the first Wednesday of each month, as necessary. 1089 G. City Council 1090 1. Authority: The City Council shall have the authority given to it by state statutes. 1091 2. Duties: The City Council shall hear and make the final decision on all matters identified as 1092 requiring City Council action in this Title. 1093 H. Board of Zoning Adjustments and Appeals 1094 1. Membership: In accordance with MN Stat. 462.354, as amended, the City Council will act as the 1095 Board of Zoning Adjustments and Appeals. 1096 2. Duties: The Board of Zoning Adjustments and Appeals hears and makes decisions on all 1097 applications for an appeal of any administrative order, requirement, determination, final decision 1098 made by the Community Development Department, or an appeal of a variance decision by the 1099 Variance Board, pursuant to the appeal procedure established in Section 1009.08 of this Title. 1100 (Ord. 1403, 12-13-2010) 1101
