Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: November 23, 2021 <br />Item Description: Communication Items <br />Public Works Project updates: <br />Item No: 4 <br />2021 Sewer Lining <br />o The contract was awarded to Visu-Sewer on November 30, 2020. The project consists <br />of lining 7.12 miles of pipe within the city. Work has been ongoing since December <br />and is 95% complete. All work is expected to be completed on the project by the end of <br />November. <br />• St Rose of Lima Drainage Improvements <br />o Bids were opened on February 3 and a contract was awarded to OMG Midwest on <br />February 22. The project is a joint project with Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed <br />District. Work involves reducing the impervious amount of the parking lot, installation <br />of rain gardens and installation of an underground storage system. The improvements <br />will reduce runoff and provide treatment which should help reduce flooding in the <br />neighborhood. All work is completed on the project. <br />• Marion Street Pathway <br />o The project was awarded on August 23. <br />o Work involves the installation of aggregate base, paving, ADA curb ramps and signage <br />related to a new trail being completed in conjunction with the Enclave Development <br />which will connect the trail on South McCarron's Boulevard to Marion Street. The <br />project is funded using Community Development Block Grant Funds. Work on the <br />project was completed last week. <br />Ramsey County Updates <br />• County Road B2 Resurfacing and Signal Improvements <br />o Work on the three signals east of Fairview were replaced and are operational and the <br />pavement work between Snelling and Hamline is completed. The signal at the Fairview <br />and County Road B2 intersection will be replaced next spring. The pavement between <br />Fairview and Snelling and the new trail under the Snelling bridge will be completed <br />next spring as well. All major work for the year will wrap up early next week. <br />Council Update <br />• Discussed utility rates and fees schedule. Scheduled to approve these in December. <br />• Approved Zoning map and Zoning Code text amendments to align with 2040 <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />
