REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date:June 8, 2020 <br />Item No.:7.b <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br />Item Description: Receive update on Roseville Police and Fire Department activities during the <br />recent local emergency related to the events following the killing of George Floyd <br />in Minneapolis <br />1 B ACKGROUND <br />2 As a result the death of George Floyd while in custody of the Minneapolis Police Department, there <br />3 has been widespread protests and civil disturbances in the Twin Cities and across the country. The <br />4 City of Roseville was impacted by the events and had an overnight curfew in place from May 29 <br />5 until the morning of June 3.
