Item 5.b <br />August 24, 2020 <br />Constitution Week <br />September 17-23, 2020 <br />WHEREAS: September 17, 2020, marks the two hundred and thirty-third anniversary of the <br />drafting of the Constitution of the United States of America by the Constitutional Convention; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: It is fitting and proper to accord official recognition to this magnificent document <br />and its memorable anniversary; and to the patriotic celebrations which will commemorate the <br />occasion; and <br />Now, Therefore Be It Resolved, that the City Council hereby proclaim the week of September <br />17 through 23 to be Constitution Week with the observance on September 17, 2020 and urge all <br />community members to join in recognizing Constitution Week. <br />In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the City of Roseville <br />th <br />to be affixed this 24 day of August, 2020. <br />________________________ <br />Mayor Daniel J.
