<br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Clerk reported forms covering application for Plumbing and Electrical <br />installers licenses and copies of the ordinance covering same had <br />been sent out to the various companies who had done business in Roseville <br />previously and two of the forms had been returned, one from Rose <br />Plumbing and the other from L. V. Malon. <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by Willmus, that the plumbing licenses be <br />granted to Rose Plumbing, 62.5 Larpenteur Ave. W. and Malon Plumbing and <br />Heating, 1655 White Bear Avenue. Roll call AyeSM(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Clerk read letter from Mrs. Wallgren, Secretary of the Library Board, <br />in regard to the lease for the new library. <br /> <br />Attorney Karon studied the lease and made several suggestions as to <br />parts of the lease that should be looked in to. <br /> <br />It was suggested a committee be appointed to take the matter up with <br />the Library Board. <br /> <br />Membrez appointed Willmus and Hammersten to the committee to make a <br />report on the matter at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Clerk read letter from Mrs. Wallgren, Secretary of the Library Board, <br />in regard to policing the area near the library. The letterJas <br />submitted to Carlson for consideration. <br /> <br />Mr. Foss appeared before the Council seeking permission to have a <br />plumber from Hutchinson (Conrad Bitzer) do the plumbing in his new <br />house on Sherren. Mr. Bitzer is not a licensed plumber but has made <br />application to take the Master Plumber's exam in Februar.y. <br /> <br />There was much discussion but it was decided that an unlicensed <br />plumber who has not previously worked in Roseville could not be allowed <br />to work as it would violate the plumbing ordinance and its amendments. <br />Mr. Foss was advised to secure the services of a licensed plumber to <br />do the work on his house~ <br /> <br />The clerk read an anonymous letter addressed to "To Whom it May Concern" <br />in regard to a building in back of the Green Parrot Nite Club at Riee <br />and County Road A2. The matter was referred to Tony Schmidt, <br />Building Inspector, for investigation and inspection. <br /> <br />Clerk read a letter from Ken Fabyanski in regard to grading and <br />flooding for a skating rink at Lexington School. <br /> <br />Clerk read letter from Herbert West, Secretary Ramsey County Planning <br />Commission, in regard to Rochat's Addition, Cleveland and Co. Rd.. D. <br />Hammersten moved, Carlson seconded, that the matter be referred to <br />the Engineer for checking. Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Clerk read letter from Herbert West, Secretary Ramsey County Planning <br />Commission, in regard to proposed plat Roseville Heights #2. <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by Carlson, the matter be referred to the <br />engineer for checking.
