Mue~ler in regard to the matter. <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by Carlson, that the letter be submitted <br />to the Rose Tribune for publication. Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Membrez brought up the subject of serving setups and serving to minors <br />at the Depot Nite Club in Roseville. <br />Hammersten moved, Membrez seconded, that Mr. Krier, owner of the <br />licenses for the Depot Nite Club be requested to appear for a hearing <br />in regard to the matter at the council meeting December 15, 1953, <br />at 2:00 P.M. to consider revoking of his licenses. Roll call Ayes-(4) <br />NéWes-(O). <br /> <br />Willmus moved, Hammersten seconded, we tra~sfer $6000.00 from the <br />liquor fund to the road and bridge fund. Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />420 <br /> <br />Primary Election <br />Publication <br /> <br />Depot Nite Club <br /> <br />Clerk read letter from B.M. Schwartz, 295 W. Co. Rd. C, requesting Plow Mathilda St. <br />the Village to plow Mathilda St. North from Co. Rd. C to allow them <br />to get into the road. <br />Hammersten moved, Willmus seconded, that the south 300 ft. of Mathilda <br />Street be accepted and plowed on the Engineer's recommendation. <br />Roll call Ayes...(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Mr. Krannak brought up the subject of a cocktail bar in connection 1ti. th Cocktail Bar <br />the restaurant he is planning in his shopping center on Larpenteur. <br />He wondered if the Village would accept such a place and would want <br />to put in the fixtures or if it would be up to the builder. <br /> <br />Willmus suggested the matter be discussed as it was a good idea. <br /> <br />Mr. Ratfield appeared in regard to certain chimneys he is using in <br />his new dwellings which the Building Inspector told him did not <br />conform with the Building Code. He is using a prefabricated Chimney, <br />Metalbestos, and would like to continue to use them nth the Council's <br />permission. <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Hammersten, that the matter be submitted <br />to the Gas Inspector for his recommenàations in regard to using <br />Metalbestos free standing and submit his report at the meeting <br />December 15, 195.3. Rollcall Ayes-(4) Nayes...(O). <br /> <br />Carley recommended placing of only one light on the corner of Lydia <br />and Mildred. Membrez suggested we hold the matter over until next <br />year. <br /> <br />The Electrical Inspector raised a complaint against the high electric <br />license fee of $35.00 and it was decided to let it stand as is for <br />the present. <br /> <br />Carlson moved, Willmus seconded, that the following bills be paid: <br /> <br />I Metalbestos <br />Chimneys <br /> <br />St. Light <br /> <br />Electric License <br />Fee <br />
