31 o Defective Drain and Obstruction <br />32 These are two new proposed additions to the ordinance to better address <br />33 some nuisance issues that can affect the sewer system. Both provisions <br />34 allow the public works director to require repairs of the private sanitary <br />35 sewer services if the service is causing issues to the City main. If repairs are <br />36 not completed, the City can complete the work at the owners expense. <br />37 803 Drainage <br />38 o Updated some definitions to better meet industry standards. <br />39 Staff presented the amended Public Works ordinance to the Public Works Environment and <br />40 Transportation Commission on August 25. After some discussion and recommendations, the <br />41 Commission recommended that the City Council adopt the proposed ordinance amendment as <br />42 amended.
