ATTACHMENT E <br />to fill in the <br />corresponding contact <br />information. <br />Email Address: <br />Phone Number: <br />Hello Mayor and Respected City Council Members <br />Please Share Your <br />I would first like to thank you for your consideration and time on <br />Comment, Question or <br />this issue, I have just recently started attending council meetings <br />Concern <br />again as I am home due to Covid and it is refreshing to see how <br />respectful you are to the citizens of Roseville and making <br />everyone feel heard. <br />I have a few further comments on the short term rental <br />conversation. <br />I know several people in our community both on waterfront <br />properties and not who successfully rent out their properties to <br />people who enjoy the opportunity and do not raise havoc. <br />I have shared some of my thoughts on the Lake McCarron issues <br />and having time to really think about it, I would like to share more <br />with the hope, in preserving neighborhood goodwill, it will stay <br />confidential but give you more perspective. <br />I have lived on the lake for 21 years, have raised my family <br />including 3 grandchildren with the privilege of living on waterfront <br />in the city. <br />I am the closest house to the boat launch and the park which has <br />its own issues.We are an incredibly mixed use neighborhood <br />which has had issues way before short term rentals. <br />Last summer two different vehicles crashed and flipped in front of <br />my house -one a pizza delivery van -making a delivery on <br />Wagoner - and stolen by a 13 year old from the park, who tore <br />around the curve onto Shady Beach, hitting my parents new SUV <br />(they had just arrived moments prior) and the stolen vehicle <br />flipping onto its drivers side with the 13 year old still in it. Not 10 <br />days later a drunk boyfriend of a resident in the apartments <br />turned too early speeding on Wagener and going across my <br />neighbors (directly across from me) and flipping onto its side at <br />10:30 at night. Both times police ambulance and fire responders <br />were called in and handled both situation very well. <br />A few years ago another drunk resident of the apartments sped <br />into the Hess's house going through the brick and into the <br />bedroom, fortunately during the day so it was empty. <br />I have been burglarized twice, the first time in the middle of the <br />day,as part of a ring that covered 5 counties-the criminals were <br /> <br />
