ATTACHMENT E finally arrested in Lake Elmo sadly after they had gotten rid of all of our stuff including my grandmothers jewelry. the second time they broke in mid morning while my stepdaughter was sleeping, she woke up to a man in her room, she ran and hid in the bathroom until the SWAT team arrived. We also heard noise at 2:00am one night and went out to our cr being on blocks and the tires stolen. All of this prior to any short term rentals. The rental homes in our neighborhood have been way more problematic Here a few examples over the past few years.. The house right next to me had people growing and making and dealing drugs as well as domestic calls including the woman stabbing her male partner who ran around the neighborhood screaming for help until the police came by. Currently cars being broken into and catalytic converters being stolen is a frequent issue in our neighborhood though no fault of short term renters... Parking: I have had people park in my driveway across my driveway, as well as many people parking on the no parking side of the street, and many cars have been abandoned the last one sat for 3 months full of trash before the city towed it away. The parking issues from the park, Hess Hair Milk - whose new tenants are a car repair business who have had tow trucks blocking access to get to Rice St, several cars parked for weeks which has most recently caused the snow plows to not be able to plow the street well, LZ has multiple cars and multi vehicle delivery trucks driving through and parking and the park again all prior to short term rental. The boat launch consistently has people standing on the launch fishing as well as the dock rather than the fishing pier which has endangered children on more than one occasion, boats from all over MN and WI come onto our lake daily and park their vehicles and trailers wherever they want as well as bringing invasive species into the lake, I continually pull trash from the beach, the park and these boats out of the lakes well as fishing lures from my dock. A kid with no experience jet skiing left the boat launch just to drive right into my dock causing me to have to replace it with no financial reimbursement, thankfully he jumped off before the ski hit my dock. Fortunately my stepson and granddaughter had just come inside. Only one short term renter brought a boat onto the lake last summer. People have set up picnics in my yard which is fenced and the the yard next door and when asked what they ere doing claimed they though our yards were part of the park..The swim dock has been taken for joy rides and I have had to retrieve it from theater side of the lake. All of this was before short term rental...
