I want to serve on this Police Civil Service commission in order to support <br />the work of our Roseville Police department. In addition, my background as a professional Neutral will <br />be of service in the reviews of employment practices. Thank you. <br /> <br />What is your view of the role of this Commission? <br />One view of what might role could be is that of a ‘support-provider’ to the City Manager, the police <br />system, and its employees. For example, I am most excited about the opportunity to use my skill-sets in <br />serving as a support-system which will strengthen the protection of employees again undue political <br />interference that could cause difficulty in the carrying-out of duties. <br /> <br />What specific skills or experiences do you have that would be beneficial in serving on the advisory <br />commission for which you are applying? <br />My aforementioned background as a professional neutral will provide the skills and experience <br />beneficial to the needs of this Police Civil Service commission. For example, my ability to process large <br />amounts of data/intel and distil it into succinct, comprehensive and practical information for the Police <br />Department is one way to achieve the efficiency for which the Commission was created. <br />If you identified a second choice commission, please include skills or experiences that would be <br />beneficial for serving on that commission.
