Attachment C <br />My work experience includes being the president of small engineering firm. In that role, I routinely dealt <br />with budgetary items, weighing impacts of decisions on short- and long-term goals. My current position <br />as a project manager at MnDOT also deals with financial impacts on multi-million dollar projects. <br /> <br />I am generally familiar with financial terms and process. My experience includes developing <br />compensation and bonus plans, comparing purchase options and life cycle costs, and reviewing <br />operations for cost savings and opportunities. <br /> <br />Civic and Volunteer Activities <br />My experience and activities during my time in Roseville reflect a variety of local items within the City <br />and regional/national items through my professional organizations. These include: <br />• Helping to lead, organize, and direct our neighborhood block party for several years <br />• Participating in the Roseville District Special Education Advisory Council <br />• Participating in elections as an election judge <br />• Serving on the local board for the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) organization <br />• Serving as a sub-committee lead for local/regional events and a national conference held by local, <br />regional, and national ITE groups <br />• Presenter of multiple Traffic Engineering topics and research items at various professional <br />organizations <br /> <br />Work Experience <br />I am a licensed, professional engineer with over 20 years of experience managing transportation and <br />traffic projects and project teams. This work generally involves handling multiple workloads, resources, <br />and schedules simultaneously. <br /> <br />Currently, my position is a Project Manager within the Metro District of the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation. Prior experience includes both public and private organizations, focused on serving <br />communities and improving the transportation network. <br /> <br />Education <br />Licensed Profession Engineer (Minnesota) <br />Certified Professional Operations Traffic Engineer (National) <br />Bachelor of Civil Engineering, University of Minnesota - Twin Cities <br /> <br />Is there additional information you would like the City Council to consider regarding your application? <br />Through projects with and for cities, I have had the opportunity to work with and present to multiple <br />City Councils and County Boards.
