REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> Date: January 24, 2022 <br /> Item No.: 8.a <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br /> <br />Item Description: Council Direction on Councilmember Initiated Agenda Items <br />1 B ACKGROUND <br />2 Under Rule 9 of the Roseville City Council and Commissions Rules of Procedures, when a <br />3 Councilmember request that an item be placedon a future City Council agenda, that item is placed on the <br />4 next meeting agenda for the City Council to provide direction as to whether, how, and when the item will <br />5 be taken up at a future meeting. <br />6 <br />7 At the January 10 meeting, City Councilmember Strahan requested the following items be considered by <br />8 the City Council: <br />9 <br />10 1. Declaring a climate emergency in Roseville <br />11 2.
