Attachment A EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City th 2 of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 24 day of January, 3 2022, at 6:00 p.m. 4 5 The following members were present: and the following members were 6 absent: . 7 8 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 9 10 RESOLUTION No. 11 12 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR RAMSEY COUNTY 13 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)/HOME 14 INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP FUNDS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF 15 MARION STREET GREENWAY CONNECTION – PHASE 2 16 17 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: 18 WHEREAS, the proposed Marion Street Greenway Connection (the “Public 19 Infrastructure”), to be located at Marion Street and South McCarrons Boulevard in the City 20 is within a HUD Low to Moderate Income Area that qualifies for Community Development 21 Block Grant Investment Partnership Program (“CDBG”) funds. 22 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville has identified CDBG funds allocated 23 to Ramsey County as a potential source of grant funding to finance a portion of the costs 24 of the Public Infrastructure; and 25 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, 26 Minnesota, that the City shall proceed with a grant application for CDBG funding through 27 Ramsey County to finance a portion of the costs of the proposed Public Infrastructure. City 28 staff is hereby authorized to proceed with grant application activities on behalf of the City, 29 subject to approval of any grant agreement by the Council if such grant is received. 30 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by 31 Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in 32 favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: . 33 WHEAREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
