Attachment A <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />th <br />2 of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 24 day of January, <br />3 2022, at 6:00 p.m. <br />4 <br />5 The following members were present: and the following members were <br />6 absent: . <br />7 <br />8 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />9 <br />10 RESOLUTION No. <br />11 <br />12 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR RAMSEY COUNTY <br />13 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)/HOME <br />14 INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP FUNDS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF <br />15 MARION STREET GREENWAY CONNECTION – PHASE 2 <br />16 <br />17 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br />18 WHEREAS, the proposed Marion Street Greenway Connection (the “Public <br />19 Infrastructure”), to be located at Marion Street and South McCarrons Boulevard in the City <br />20 is within a HUD Low to Moderate Income Area that qualifies for Community Development <br />21 Block Grant Investment Partnership Program (“CDBG”) funds. <br />22 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville has identified CDBG funds allocated <br />23 to Ramsey County as a potential source of grant funding to finance a portion of the costs <br />24 of the Public Infrastructure; and <br />25 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />26 Minnesota, that the City shall proceed with a grant application for CDBG funding through <br />27 Ramsey County to finance a portion of the costs of the proposed Public Infrastructure. City <br />28 staff is hereby authorized to proceed with grant application activities on behalf of the City, <br />29 subject to approval of any grant agreement by the Council if such grant is received. <br />30 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />31 Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />32 favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: . <br />33 WHEAREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br /> <br />
